Paging Doctor Freud

Somethings been weighing on my mind lately. It's a bit of a personality quirk that I have, that I don't like.  Today I want to share my "issue" with you, in the hopes that you can give me some feedback about how I can improve this Star Wars related... problem?  I'm not sure that is the right word, but please, take five minutes to listen and then tell me what you think!

MiniRig MiniEpisode #0008

I don't normally post MiniRig MiniEpisodes to the site, I just drop them into the feed, but...

There is no new episode of Less Than 12 Parsecs tonight, because I spent the evening celebrating the 1000th episode of Star Wars 7x7​ with my buddy Allen Voivod, along with his friends and family.  Allen kindly let me sit in on his live stream from the party. Honestly, I thought I would just be popping in to chat with him for a few minutes, but I ended up stay for it's entirety.  I hope I didn't over stay my welcome!  Anyway, thank you to Allen, his awesome wife Lani, and everyone else who was there, online and in person, for such a great evening.  Heres to the next 1000 episodes!

One Hundred Episodes!!!

So today is the day, a milestone has been reached...  Today is the 100th episode of less Than 12 Parsecs!

Today I look back at our first 99 episodes with that classic broadcasting short-cut, a clip show!  Can I do it in under five minutes?  Actually, no, today I clock in at just over six minutes, but it's the thought that counts!

Why ATOC?

I often tell people that Episode II: Attack of the Clones is my favorite of the Star Wars prequels, and they will look at me funny and say "Really?  Why?".  Well, today, I try to explain myself.  And I do so unscripted, (I didn't have time to write a script for today's episode) so I'm not sure if my reasoning come across as clears as it could have.  If you have questions or need clarification on any of these points, please just let me know!

Gut Reaction: Twin Suns

 I don't do a lot of review episodes here on Less Than 12 Parsecs.   Reviews are not my strong suit. However, from time to time, I like to share my "Gut Reaction" about something in the world of Star Wars.

Well, ever since Saturday, all anyone is talking about is the episode of Star Wars Rebels titled "Twin Suns".   Everyone and their brother is sharing their reviews of this episode online!  So, I decided to jump on this band wagon.  So here are just a few of the things that came to mind after I watch Twin Suns.  Please enjoy my Gut Reaction!

Action Figure Number 10, 11 & 12

Well, it's that time of the month where I add a new classic Kenner action figure to my collection. This months figure is actually THREE figures! Why three? Because I had so much fun getting three last month, that I decided to do it again! So, what did I get? Well, listen to the episode to find out!

A big thank you to Vic Cuzzupe who sold me the figure this month.  And a big apology to Vic as well.  As you will hear, I completely forgot his name as I was recording the episode.  Vic, I am very sorry!

The Star Wars Podcast Awards

The nominations for the 2017 Star Wars Podcast Awards were announced this morning, and I am proud to tell you that Less Than 12 Parsecs has been nominated in the category of Best New Show!  It truly is an honor just to be nominated!

I know that a lot of podcasts out there will post the heck out of this all over their social media accounts, mention it on all their episodes and will be asking for your vote.  I just want to tell you up front that this is not my style.  I really am happy just to have been nominated!

Figures Wanted!

Hey there! I am over due for my monthly Kenner Action Figure. As long time listeners will know, I am not a toy collector, but I am slowly collecting all the original vintage Kenner action figures. I try to get one a month. Anyway, I need one for this month.

 So, if you have a loose, clean, near mint figure with its accessories I'd like to buy it for a fair price. But here's the thing... I don't want you to tell me what the figure is before you sell it to me! Just send it to me, so I can unwrap it live on the show like it's Christmas Morning 1979! As long as it's a figure I do not already have it's cool!
