Gut Reaction: Rebels - Season 3, Episode 1

It's in the Star Wars podcaster's constitution that you must produce a certain number of review episodes per year.  No, not really, but it does appear that a lot of shows out there are reviewing the season three premier of Star Wars: Rebels today.  And I thought, "Heck, why not jump on that bandwagon?"  So please, take two minutes to hear my thoughts about the episode entitled "Steps Into Shadow".  Thank you.

Sorry for the lack of posts this week, I've been a little under the weather.  But, I'm back and ready to go again!

Today's guest is Mr. Joe Mignano.  He is a fellow Star Wars podcaster, BUT, he is on today to talk about an app he has built for Android users.  It is called "Star Wars Podcasts".  It brings together 40 or so great Star Wars podcasts all in one place for you!  It sure makes things easy when it comes to keeping track of your favorite shows, and it is a great way to find all new favs as well!

Drink Football & Watch Beer

I had a bit of a worrisome Star Warsy experience this weekend while hanging out with the guys on a Sunday afternoon.  Take two minutes to hear all about it, and please, let me know your thoughts.  Am I over thinking this, or is this something we need to be concerned about?

Two Truths And A Lie

I get a little long winded on this episode and talk for three long minutes.  However will you make it through this entire episode!

Action Figure Number Three

As I say in the beginning of this episode, I didn't intend to turn this podcast into a show about collecting, but... well, take two minutes to have a listen and learned why I'm doing another show about classic Kenner action figures and my goal to collect them all, so soon!

The Force, Midichlorians, and Pablo's Tweetstorm

Yesterday, Pablo Hidalgo from the Lucasfilm Story Group posted a series of tweets about The Force, Midichlorians and character's ability to tap into The Force.  I've never been a big fan of Midichlorians, but his series of Twitter messages really changed my thinking on some things.

Today's episode was going to be my commentary on what he had to say, but what he had to say was so interesting, that I pretty much ended up just reading what he wrote.  I did have some things to say today, but there's so much that could be said, that there's no way my two minutes could do it justice!

That said, I'm more than happy to discuss these ideas in length with anyone, in person or online.  Let me know if you want to chat!

Top Five: My Favorite Lines From A New Hope

Harrison Ford famously once said to George Lucas, "You can type this $h!t, but you can't say it!".  Even though the Star Wars films are not known for specifically great dialog, we the fans love the language used in that galaxy far, far away.

Today's episode is my top five favorite lines from Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope, and why I love them.

The Saga Begins

No, the title of this episode is not in reference to the classic Weird Al song (have I mentioned I've performed on stage with Mr. Yankovic multiple times in the past? Oh, I have?  Ok, I'll shut up now.), but rather it is about the beginning of my classic Kenner Star Wars Action figure collection!

As I mentioned in Episode #0005, "Going Classic Kenner Collection Crazy", I am going to try and collect all the original Kenner Star Wars  action figures, and chronicle the experience here on the podcast. Well, my first figure has arrived! It comes from my good friend, Mr. Jason Collier, from The Expanded Fandomverse podcast.

I did not know which figure he was sending me, and when the package arrived the other day, I did not open it. Instead, I waited until today to record the experience here on the show. So please, sit back and enjoy my Christmas in September, as I open the package he sent me, and I squeal like a schoolchild.  (Sorry about that.)

10 Questions with Allen Voivod

Less than 10 episodes into this project, and I am starting to figure somethings out.  For example, whenever I interview a guest, we will do a two minute "serious" interview (however serious a two minute interview can be!), followed by a second episode where we do 10 stoopid questions, with only 10 second to answer.

So yesterday was Allen Voivod's "serious interview", and now it's time for the 10 stoopid questions!  Please forgive the sound quality. We were in a busy restraint, and I was too close to the microphone. Like I said, less than 10 episodes so far, so I'm still learning!  Thanks for bearing with me!
